SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE
SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE marked Tyler’s last performance at USC, and he could not have dreamed of a better farewell. This musical, written by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, has been his all time favorite show since his sophomore year of high school. He dreamed of being in this musical one day, and when USC announced it, he nearly fainted. He was fortunate enough to play George in this production alongside one of his best friends Liz Buzbee, who gave a breathtaking performance as Dot/Marie. A frickin dream! Under Kelly Ward’s masterful direction and with Parmer Fuller’s precise musical direction, Tyler could be more proud of this production.
He wants to be sure to shout out his friends Edina Hiser and Mallory Gabbard who were the costume and scenic designers respectively. These two incredible women made this show soar, and he cannot wait to see all the magic they create next.
